Overview
At Linus Carpet Private Limited, we are committed to delivering premium quality event carpets. Due to the nature of our B2B wholesale business and custom orders, please carefully review our policy before placing orders.
1. General Policy
Goods once sold are NOT returnable or exchangeable.
Our carpets are manufactured and supplied for commercial/event use. All sales are final unless the product has manufacturing defects or damage during transit.
2. Eligibility for Returns (Manufacturing Defects Only)
Returns are accepted only in the following cases:
Acceptable Return Reasons:
- Manufacturing defects (tears, color bleeding, GSM inconsistency)
- Damaged goods during transportation (with proof)
- Wrong product delivered (different GSM/design/color than ordered)
Conditions for Return:
- Claim must be raised immediately upon delivery inspection
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
- Photographic/video evidence of defect required
- Original invoice copy mandatory
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items CANNOT be returned or refunded:
✗ Custom printed carpets (with logos/specific designs)
✗ Cut pieces or custom sizes
✗ Products used even once at any event
✗ Normal wear and tear or color fading due to usage
✗ Products damaged due to improper storage by buyer
✗ Orders placed more than 7 days ago (unless manufacturing defect)
4. Inspection & Claims
Mandatory Inspection on Delivery:
- Inspect all goods immediately upon delivery
- Claims for damage/defects must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
- Video recording during package opening is recommended for high-value orders

5. Refund Process
If Return is Approved:
- Refunds processed within 7-10 business days after inspection
- Refund mode: Bank transfer to original payment account
- Deductions: Transportation costs (if applicable) will be deducted
Partial Refunds:
Partial refunds may be issued if:
- Product packaging is damaged but product is intact
- Minor defects that don’t affect functionality
No Refunds for:
- Change of mind or color preference
- Delay in project timelines (buyer’s responsibility)
- Normal variations in digital printed colors (±5% tolerance acceptable)
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are NOT available except in case of:
- Wrong product delivered by our warehouse
- Manufacturing defect confirmed by our quality team
Exchange must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Payment & Order Terms
As per our standard business terms:
✓ Payment before delivery (unless credit terms agreed in writing)
✓ Subject to availability & standard dispatch timelines (3-5 days for stock items)
✓ 24% per annum interest charged on overdue payments
✓ Transportation at buyer’s cost unless specified in quotation
✓ Prices subject to GST (as applicable)
8. Shipping & Transportation
Return Shipping (If Approved):
- Buyer arranges pickup/courier at their cost initially
- If defect confirmed, we reimburse shipping via refund

Transit Damage:
- Report immediately with transporter’s acknowledgment
- We assist in insurance claims if applicable
- Document damage with photos before accepting delivery
9. Warranty & Quality Assurance
Our Commitment:
- All carpets manufactured as per specified GSM standards
- Quality checked before dispatch
- Suitable for intended event/commercial use
10. Bulk Orders & Custom Requirements
For orders above 500 sq. mt. or custom requirements:
- Special terms may apply (discussed case-by-case)
- Advance payment: 50% at order, 50% before dispatch
- Custom orders: Non-refundable advance
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to:
- Natural disasters, strikes, government regulations
- Raw material shortage or supply chain disruptions
- Events beyond reasonable control
12. Dispute Resolution
- All disputes subject to Kanpur jurisdiction only
- Amicable resolution preferred through direct communication
- Legal recourse as per Indian Contract Act, 1872
